School Garden

Our school garden plot was donated by the Vollbrechts.  Their stand is directly across from the old entrance of the church.  A few days ago she reported:

Here is some statistical information about the garden. I went out today and counted the plants that are growing and I was surprised by the numbers. Our sunflower room is made with 80 sunflowers and there are 10 more growing in various places in the garden.
Tomatoes - 58 plants
Pumpkins - 44 hills
Squash - 5 varieties
Cabbage - 14 plants
Cauliflower - 12 plants
This along with sweet corn, kohlrabi, gourds, kale, radishes, carrots, beans, peas, beets cantaloupe, watermelon, peppers, potatoes, onions, cucumbers, celery, brussel sprouts, and some herbs (dill, parsley, chives, basil,cilantro) make up our school garden.
